Michael Olise has played down suggestions that he could be in the running for the Ballon d’Or, insisting his full focus remains on helping his team achieve success this season.
Speaking to CBS Sports, the talented attacker said the individual recognition is not currently on his mind.
“It’s not my focus now to be honest. It’s nice to hear but there’s half of the season to play still — focus on the team and on team titles now,” Olise said.
The statement highlights the player’s commitment to collective success rather than individual awards, as he continues to concentrate on performances and helping his team compete for trophies during the remainder of the campaign.
